Maretsch Castle


Visiting the castle

Maretsch Castle is mainly a meeting and congress centre, with meeting rooms which can be hired for conferences, exhibitions, weddings and more.
Anyway do not miss a visit of the castel, it's worth and it is just a few minutes walking distance from the city center. During the 16th century the castle was enlarged. Today you can see the rooms with the frescoes and you can enjoy the panoramic view from the tower.

Guided tours for groups are available with prior booking (upon availibility).

11th - 15th April
19th - 20th April
26th April

As there are numerous private events in May, the dates for possible visits will be published here.


Security measures Covid-19
Wearing a mouth-nose protection is mandatory. Hand sanitizer are available in the museum. 
 ​Please understand that people with COVID19 symptoms will be denied access to the museum.

Starting December 30th 2021 th entry to museums in Italy will only be possible with the “Super Green Pass” (2G).
All people ages 12 and up who would like to visit the castle must be:
- Vaccinated (at least the 1st dose with a vaccine recognized by the EU)
- Recovered (no longer than 6 months ago)
The "Green Pass" has to be shown at the entrance.
